App Mode

Collate supports two app experiences:
  • Classic
  • AI
Each user can switch between them from their own app mode toggle. App Mode decides which experience a user lands in the first time, before they’ve made that choice themselves, so it shapes the first impression Collate makes on every new teammate you invite. Purpose and Benefits
  • Purpose: Set which app mode, Classic or AI, new users land in by default.
  • Benefits: Controls the first impression Collate makes on every new teammate you invite.

How to Configure

To set the App Mode, follow the steps below:
  1. Navigate to Settings > Preferences > App Mode. App Mode settings
  2. Choose one of the following options:
    • No Default: Users land in the Classic experience unless a persona or their own preference says otherwise.
    • Classic: Users without a personal or persona-level mode land in the Classic experience.
    • AI: Users without a personal or persona-level mode land in the AI experience.

  3. Click Save.
A user’s own app mode choice, and any persona-level app mode, both take precedence over this tenant default.
