# Step 3 - Invite Users

> Invite teammates to your Collate workspace and assign roles so they can access, manage, and collaborate on data assets.

## Invite Users

After metadata is in Collate, invite your team to collaborate. Assign roles to control what each person can see and do.

1. Navigate to **Settings** > **Team & User Management** > **Users**.
2. Click **Add User** and enter the user's **Email**, **Display Name**, and **Description**.
3. Assign **Teams** and set their **Role**.
4. To grant administration access, set the **Admin** toggle to on.
5. Add **Domains**, then click **Create**.

**How Roles and Access Work:**

* Users inherit the access permissions defined for their assigned team and role.
* Admin access grants full access to all settings and the ability to invite additional users.
* New users receive an email invitation to complete their account setup.
